Dederang Hotel Commercial Door Systems | Regency Windows

Commercial door systems case study · Dederang Hotel
A country pub transformation built around light, views and atmosphere.
When the Dederang Hotel was transformed for Channel 7’s I Built a Pub with Shane Jacobson, the commercial window and door systems had to do more than look good. They had to open the venue up, frame the surrounding landscape and support a hospitality space built for real use.

Ooops I Bought a Pub / I Built a Pub with Shane Jacobson follows the Dederang Hotel transformation — including the Regency commercial window and door systems.
Regency Windows supplied and installed large-format commercial door systems that helped turn an older country pub into a brighter, more connected destination.
Project
Dederang Hotel / Ranga Hotel
Scope
Large-format commercial windows and doors for a hospitality transformation.
Outcome
More light, better views and a stronger indoor–outdoor connection.
Before: the view was there — the old window and door setup wasn’t doing it justice.
The existing window and door areas were functional, but tired. For a venue surrounded by open country and mountain views, the old window and door setup limited the sense of light and connection that the finished pub needed.

Custom made
Made for the job.
Delivered ready for site.
Large commercial openings need more than off-the-shelf thinking. The frames were manufactured to suit the project, transported carefully and delivered ready for installation.

Installed at scale
The finish depends on the install.
Commercial door systems on this scale take planning, access equipment and a team that understands how to bring large panels into place cleanly and safely.
Drainage detail
FlowThru Drain Pro built into the threshold.
On a hospitality opening like this, the threshold detail matters. FlowThru Drain Pro helps manage water at the door line while keeping the transition clean, practical and integrated into the finished door system.
The black drain channel sits neatly with the frame, so the finished result feels deliberate rather than added on after the fact.

After: a venue that feels open, warm and ready for guests.
The completed commercial door systems change how the space feels. Natural light moves through the venue, the outdoor areas become part of the experience and the surrounding views are no longer hidden behind tired frames.
For hospitality projects, this is where windows and doors become more than building products — they shape the atmosphere guests remember.
